Work and New addition to the site. (submitted by Jehute at 05:43pm CST)
I am currently looking for a different way to present the site. Currently I am using the wack news section from our old EQDkp site. It is slow going trying to make a choice and get enough time mess around with it would be nice as well.
Anyways here is the new addition. Jive Comics:

There was once a dream of Jive. It began early one morning in late November of 2004. It started small, full of potential, and began to grow. Yet as it grew there was trouble for this dream, Jive was not to survive it seemed. Its light slowly faded to that of a faint glow of a candle flickering in the wind. Jive was to be remembered....but not yet....not yet.
The dream was carried by few, and even they feared the worst for it seemed that all was lost. Then one day the flame started to grow, unexpected and awkward at first, but the strength began to return to its once forgotten purpose. For Jive was not lost, it lay hidden in many, and while unknown to them they slowly gathered and the flame grew stronger. The dream was renewed in the hearts of Hellscream, and Jive was reborn.
Preparations began, strategies were made, and the battle was started once again. The war was fierce and bloody, and in the beginning there were a few casualties, yet Jive grew in strength, until one day the battles turned inward. There were those who had lost sight of the dream and began to turn to their own ambitions. The dream was fading once again.
Then something unexpected happened. Instead of falter, Jive grew, facing its defeat head-on and turned into a raging fire. Slowly more came to believe in the dream that began so long ago, and they did not stand alone. The dream of Jive was dear to their hearts and they would never let it go. They fought to keep it and kept true its purpose.
Jive still lives on and is stronger now than ever before.
This goes out to everyone new and old in the Jive Horde. Your patience and loyalty made this possible. Congratulations and Thank You. You are the dream that is Jive, and this is only the beginning of what we have been waiting for.

Grats to Jive on the Bear and Eagle boss in ZA!!!! We made a midnight run into ZA after our Kara raid and decided to grab some loots. Raid was called on account of zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz............

While we have had a lot of apps lately we are still looking for easy going raiders who enjoy making outrageous donations to the guild slush fund. But we do get people every once in a while that we just have to say no to.

If you have yet to see the new commercial spots from Blizzard I suggest you get on down to the community site and check them out. Lets just say I had to change my pants after I saw them.
On to whats new in Jive Horde:
First off 2.3 finally hit and Jive has been rocking ZA, and let us all thank Baby Jesus for a raid other than Kara.
I'd say more but frankly I just don't know what to say about it all other than "Play World of Warcraft dog" - William Shatner
Now on to the fun:
We pride ourselves in that we are a guild that has brought strangers together into one general friendship that stresses fun and caring, but mostly making fun of other people and our own.

Gearing up for 2.3 ZA action is in progress. Be on for raids if you want to get some gear. ZA will not be your show up and expect a spot type raid. We will be taking those who are dedicated and geared to ensure domination. If you are lacking any gear let us know so we can work on trying to get it for you if possible. Look for heroic groups and get your pvp on to get any gear that will upgrade your current gear if possible.

Well its time for another update and no much new has been going on. We are still gearing up to dominate in 2.3 when Blizzard releases it. Other than that its PvP and Kara fun on the menu for Jive.
On a side more personal note I would like to announce my dislike of the general public. No I'm not anti-social, quite the contrary, I just have this growing urge to bitchslap most of the general public for of course general stupidity. I know it sounds vague and kinda cruel but seriously if i have to hear another story about Brittany "someone love me" Spears and her child custody case I'm going to break something, preferably Ann Coulter's back. Why do we care about all this? Where is the real news. Where is the stuff that makes life exciting, like new discoveries, feats of humanity. Why I remember the good ol' days I was wearing an onion, which was the style at the time, where we could sit around the radio and hear all types of nifty new inventions and news of the Red Menace. Those were the times. Anyways I hope some good news happens soon so I can stop having to rant over shit that really does not matter.

No news is good news in the sense that Jive is continuing to regain some of what it lost in what I'm dubbing Emo Fest '07. Our numbers are continuing to rise, slowly but at least its not the other way right. If Blizzard would ever finish 2.2 then 2.3 would be that much closer and for those of you who are tired of Kara, and I feel you, we will have something new to do soon.
It is rumored that the patch will be tomorrow and this is not a small one folks so please to be fixing your UI as soon as you can so we can continue unhindered in raiding.
Jive is still looking for more peeps to join the fun and relaxed atmosphere that we try to maintain. If you are interested and you know the engrish language then jump on our forums for more info on the application process.
I still have yet to find any of my old screens from when i backed up the computer, I getting concerend that I may have forgot to put them on a dvd at this point but there will be more to come as well as punch and pie.

Well as some of you know I had to send off my laptop to get repairs. Well I finally got it back and can now finally get back to updating, well kinda... So I lost all my pictures somewhere when I was backing up but they will turn up somewhere. In the mean time Jive has gotten a few new members I'd like to welcome.

Whew that was mentally taxing. On to business:
We are currently gearing up for enhanced Kara action (use as directed), and we are also looking into getting a second kara raid going if we could just find the healers, so if you know a healer or you are a healer who is not currently in guild well then come up on stage!!!
Anyways more fun from Dustin and friends to come soon but for now...

We have started messing around with WWS to get a better idea of what areas need improvement in our raids. Basically what WWS does is parse a WoW combat log to produce a website that has more information on it than you ever wanted to know about whats is going on during a raid. I will be updating these after every raid if you want to look to see how you did, what you did, and what you might want to change. For now until i build an interface for the raids just look for a link here in the news section for the latest charts.

So while goofing around in Kara we decided to check out Nightbane and ended up downing him tonight. Great job to everyone who came and dominated!!!
Completely forgot to get a death picture but here he is while I was dead waiting for us to kill him, I was the only death on this attempt, great job again Jive!!!!
